Bappam tv has an abiding respect for the intellectual property rights of others; hence, we expect the same from our customers. We aim to establish a policy and copyright infringement complaint under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

What Is A DMCA Notice?

If a copyright holder has an omission on our website and wishes to remove the post, a DMCA Notice can be submitted. This notice should bear the following;

  • The copyright holder’s physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized representative).
  • Identification of the work of authorship that is claimed to be copyrighted.
  • Identification of the infringing work and sufficiently detailed information to find the infringing work on the website.
  • Contact information to include your address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement affirming your honest and reasonable belief that the use of the copyrighted materials is not authorized by the copyright holder, their agent, or the law.
  • A declaration of the information contained in the notice to be true and, under the penalty of perjury, you possess the copyright or are authorized to act on the copyright holder’s behalf.

Our Reply to DMCA Communication  

When a valid DMCA communication is received, [Your Website Name] will:  

  • Remove or limit access to the infringing content.   
  • Inform the user who uploaded the content that a DMCA communication is filed against his/her content.  
  • In addition, the user is given enough time to file a notice of dispute against the DMCA communication if the user believes that the content is not infringing.  

Notice of Dispute  

A notice of dispute can be filed if a user believes that content was wrongfully removed based on misidentification. The notice of dispute must include:  

  1. Your handwritten or typed signature.  
  2. A description of the content that was removed, including its prior location.  
  3. Your description stating that the content was removed based on misidentification or mistake.  
  4. Any means of communication that you consider appropriate, including your physical address, your phone contact, and your email.  

Upon receipt of a notice of dispute, we will restore the content unless the intitial DMCA communicator acts in a litigious manner against the user.
